CCS Project

I’ve always been inspired by the design and story behind the Daytona Coupe. So, for my freshman metals class final at CCS, I chose to recreate it. I began by drafting a 1:8 scale blueprint and dividing the body into 22 sections, anchored by a central spine. After roughly 90 hours of work—gas welding and hand-forming every piece—the result is what you see here.
